Strangely, there were reports that EA laid off the bulk of the Apex Legends quality assurance testers shortly before EA Sports PGA Tour was released in April.

Although there plenty of great things to say about the game, the PC version had performance issues on release. For that reason alone I can understand why there wasn’t a PS4 version.
