There are many great things about the PS4 hardware. But, if I had to complain about something it would be the controller.

I recommend the PS4 Mini Wired Gamepad by Hori because you can play powered by the usb cable without having to charge the controller.

It does not have six axis functionality nor a headphone jack.

This was a personal purchase and was tested for greater than a six month period. Thanks for your support!
